Construction Inspection
About the Program
The purpose of Karakoçan Vocational School Construction Inspection Program is to train qualified technical personnel by providing training on Construction Inspection related to construction needed by public institutions and the private sector.
Purpose:
Our program is a two-year Higher Education Program with the aim of ensuring that qualified intermediate manpower needed by the construction sector in both production and after-sales service levels are trained in accordance with the philosophy of quality and service that will meet the expectations of the age.
Goal:
It trains graduates who have received the information required by technological developments, gained the ability to apply, are familiar with the material, have knowledge in production techniques, can use drawings and norms related to their profession, have the knowledge and skills to solve professional problems, can use modern devices, and have an associate degree.
Level-Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) and Awarded Degree
Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded a BUILDING INSPECTION OCCUPATIONAL MEMBER ASSOCIATE DEGREE.
Duties of Building Inspection Technicians
According to the "Building Inspection
Implementation Regulation" published in the Official Gazette dated 12.08.2001 and numbered 24491, under the direction and management of architects and engineers;
Inspects the compliance of prepared projects with the legislation, the accuracy of details and calculations, and the existence of the registry status documents of the project owners.
Ensures that any deficiencies and errors are corrected. Approves projects that are free of deficiencies and errors.
Performs the inspection works such as measurement, calculation, project, etc. given to him by the engineer under the responsibility of the building inspection engineer.
Initials the documents such as survey, attachment, minutes, sections, projects, etc. that he is assigned, measured and arranged by him, and submits them to the engineer to be examined and signed.
After the site is delivered, performs the necessary inspections and supervisions during the construction of the foundation section, prepares the foundation mold and iron reinforcement manufacturing control report and the foundation concrete casting report, and approves the conformity of the operations performed.
During the manufacturing of the carrier system section, after the concrete mold, iron equipment and other necessary installations are checked, concrete casting is allowed under the supervision of the civil engineer. It prepares a report for each concrete casting work to be carried out in the structure.
In the last section until the completion of the roof, filling walls, door and window frames and the infrastructures of the installations of the structure and their readiness for plastering and the completion of the work, it prepares the control reports for the basement, ground floor, suspended, normal floor and attic floors' external walls and internal walls, electrical installation wall pipes control report, electrical cable pulling and secondary panel control report, roof construction, thermal insulation, water insulation and roof cover control report, clean water pipe installation hydraulic pressure test control report, waste water pipe installation leakage test control report, report indicating that the structure is ready for plastering, electrical main panel control report and mechanical installation assembly report.
Qualifications Required by the Profession
For those who want to become a Building Inspection Technician;
· Successful in science, especially in mathematics and physics,
· Able to see shape and space relationships,
· Developed drawing skills,
· Able to plan and implement a job,
· Prone to teamwork,
· Responsible, careful people are required.
Program Profile
It is a two-year program that provides training in order to ensure that the qualified intermediate manpower needed by the construction sector in both production and after-sales service levels are trained in accordance with the quality and service philosophy that will meet the expectations of the age. Graduates have the qualifications to meet the qualified personnel needs between managers/engineers and workers in the production and after-sales service sectors or to open and run their own workplaces. The training that the Construction Inspection technician receives will enable him/her to know the contemporary trends in advanced technology and information technologies.
