Purpose of the Program
Information and communication technologies are used effectively in almost every area of life as indispensable needs of our age. In parallel, the computer technologies sector is in a continuous and dynamic development due to rapidly changing market and competition conditions at the global level. Due to these features, the computer technologies sector attracts the close attention of countries as a strategic industry and special plans are made for this sector. As in the world, the training and employment of individuals with knowledge in the field of computer technologies is an important issue in our country. The purpose of our program is to train qualified, hard-working personnel who have sufficient knowledge and experience in computers, who can follow the developments in this needed field and to bring them to the IT sector.
Titles Earned by Graduates and Jobs They Do
Computer Programming graduates are given the title of “Computer Technology and Programming Technician”. They are assigned to carry out work related to software and hardware issues in areas where computer systems are used.
Employment Areas
Students who graduate from the Computer Programming Program are employed in companies that produce goods/services in the computer programming sector, provide computer software and web software services, and relevant public institutions and organizations with the title of “Computer Technology and Programming Technician” they have earned.
Professional Advancement
Those who successfully complete the Computer Programming associate degree program can vertically transfer to the following undergraduate programs if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) opened by ÖSYM.
